WHAT IS THE ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM? The endocannabinoid system is a group of cannabinoid receptors, enzymes and endocannabinoins located in the brain, connective tissue,  glands and throughout the nervous system. Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of over 60 structurally related hemp plant-derived compounds that indirectly stimulate or interact with naturally occurring cannabinoid receptors on cells that mediate cell communication. HOW LONG DOES CBD STAY IN MY BODY? 3 to 5 days depending on body weight, body chemistry and composition, and level of physical activity. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CBD AND HEMP OIL? CBD Cannabinol is a component found in hemp that has many reported benefits for health & wellness because of its direct interaction with the endocannabinoid system. Hemp oil, or hemp seed oil, is an oil extracted from the hemp plant that is contains the omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and helps the body produce more of its own naturally occurring endocannabinoids . WHAT ROLE DOES CARRIER OIL PLAY? Carrier oil is essential in the delivery of CBD. Pure concentrated CBD has an unpleasant taste which is why many of our competitors add artificial flavors or use “candy” as a delivery method. We believe CBD is serious medicine and we prefer to treat it that way. We choose an all natural hempseed oil to add a pleasant, natural, nutty flavor. DOES SEVEN POINTS CBD SHIP TO CANADA? At this time, we only ship domestically within the United States. If this policy changes, we will make sure our International friends know. DO YOU USE FULL SPECTRUM EXTRACT OR ISOLATE? At Seven Points CBD we only use 100% Full spectrum extract including cannabinoids and terpenes present in the source flower. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SPECTRUM EXTRACT AND ISOLATE? The term “full spectrum” means that the cannabinoid and terpene profile in the extract matches the profile of the source flower and contains multiple phytocannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, CBC as well as the terpenes found in the source flower. CBD isolate is just what the name implies, an isolated and nearly pure extract of CBD crystals with no other phytocannabinoids or terpenes. WHAT EXTRACTION PROCESS DO YOU USE? Our extracts are deprived using Supercritical Co2 extraction. This is a certified organic process. No other solvents are used. Additionally, the extraction facility is certified by the CO Dept. of Public Health and Environment. DOES HEMP OIL BOOST IMMUNITY? While we can not make any health claims bout our product, the Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids present in hemp oil have been reported to improve immunity and regulate intestinal flora, thus building a natural barrier against microbes and increasing the resilience of the body. WHAT TYPE OF TESTING DO YOU DO? The raw extract is double blind 3rd party tested for cannabinoid & terpene profile as well as residual solvents or other contaminants such as mold, pesticides and VOCs. Final product is also 3rd party tested for potency, cannabinoid & terpene profile as well as residual solvents or other contaminants such as mold, pesticides and VOCs. HOW MUCH CBD SHOULD I TAKE? This is a bit of a tricky question since every individual has a unique combination of body weight, pain tolerance, diet, exercise and body chemistry. Based on personal experience, customer feedback and discussions with several industry experts, we have created a dosage chart that seems to work for most people. We recommend starting with these dosages and and adjusting up or down according to your results. HOW SOON WILL I FEEL THE EFFECT OF TAKING CBD? With a faster metabolism, fats burn at a quicker rate and are not deposited on the artery walls. CAN I TAKE HEMP OIL IF I’M A VEGETARIAN?
